Reviews
The amenities and units are nice, but the new management, Broe, is beyond incompetent. The fully new maintenance team flooded my bathroom and spoiled my entire fridge within the first two weeks of taking over. The cooling system of Building A is out constantly throughout the summer for up to 24 hours at a time. Not to mention that my 60 day offer to renew was received late and at full asking price. Just stay far away. My full review to come shortly.
Update 11/13: if you like your car being touched in a private parking garage without your consent, move here. They gave little warning on painting the railing on top of the perimeter wall. The contractor is resorting to plastic wrapping your car.
Broe real estate took over a couple months ago. It has been a disaster since then. They’ve jacked up the rent which definitely isn’t justifiable since the quality of living here has gone down significantly. There are so many units available because so many people didn’t want to live here anymore after seeing how Broe was managing this property. If we could leave right now we would. Before the ac was switched to heat the ac was broken more than it worked. It was so hot in our building. Now that the ac has been switched to heat the heating has been having problems. We also haven’t used it more than 3 times because our apartment gets up to 76 degrees during the day. So definitely think about if you’re okay with only being able to use one or the other IF it even works. When the heat was turned on for the first week my family experienced extreme allergies. It took them two months to get someone to redo our bathtub that was peeling. Our microwave broke so they replaced it with one that is literally hovering over the sink until they get a new one…it’s been about 2 months. Our garbage disposal broke someone came out to fix the leak (replace garbage disposal) it started leaking again, someone else came in and said it’s because the first person replaced it with a broken one. Then it started leaking again and no one believed me. The property manager argued with me about that and what do you know, a couple days later it was replaced again because it WAS….leaking. The hot tub never works, the pool is hot and gross. The cleaning crew definitely doesn’t do their job, you’ll see that in the pictures. The laundry machines and dryers always break. They always try to sneak in “redecorating” fees in on your monthly bill like I’m the one wanting to redecorate this complex. Some of the automatic door buttons don’t work. We went with one of the building doors unlocked for over a month. They upped the prices of renting the community rooms out. It’s just terrible, each month brings more problems. Seriously do not move here
Edit: we were told the 3bdrm is $6,000 do NOT rent here! Plug that price in on Zillow and see what you can get. The prices here for what this place is is ABSURD. Or better yet, check out one river north. Seasons has truly lost their darn minds!
The 81 degree thermostat picture is from 11/16/23 and I can’t turn it down because we only have the choice of heat (:
Edit 2: My 6 year old son cut his foot on a nail that was sticking out from under the carpet. Picture added
They got permission to enter so they could fix the carpet because they were already doing carpet in other units that day. I come back and nothing was fixed…
Also I’m 95% sure their recent good reviews are fake..
There has been a broken laundry cart that’s missing a wheel left out for weeks. Before I was aware it was broken it fell on my 6 month old. They did “fix it” look at the last 2 pics…it paints a perfect picture of what it’s like to live here. Very much so “Luxury living”… “Cherry creek living”
The only way I’d be grateful for this place is if they let me break the lease for free.
1/14 All 13 of their laundry washers are all broken….
They only have the heat going in building C lobby and not building A or B. I assume that’s because the leasing office is in building C and they want to make sure they look good. It’s a freaking ice box in lobby C
Garage elevators are broken…hopefully no one here uses a wheelchair
The new owner & management is AWFUL. What was their first priority after buying the place and firing all the old staff? Jack up rent and dump THOUSANDS of dollars into cosmetic improvements instead of replacing the majorly problematic A/C.
Never EVER move into a South facing unit of Building B or Building A. These buildings are plagued with A/C issues. The buildings each have one A/C system for the entire building, so when they malfunction (which is VERY often), none of the units in the entire buildings have A/C. Earlier this summer, we went an entire week without any air condition - while the temperature outside was in the 90's. This is very dangerous and unsafe for us (my spouse has a hear condition) and our animals. If you live in a South facing-unit, temperatures inside get in the UPPER 80's.
Oh, and the heat for the buildings work the same way. So either the entire building has heat or has A/C. They flip the switch over from A/C to heat late fall (which is too soon for South-facing units and not soon enough for North-facing units), and they flip the switch over from heat to A/C in the Spring (too soon for North-facing units, and not soon enough for South-facing units).
The other day, management sent an email to all of the residents BLAMING US for not reporting that the A/C was out yet again. Excuse me? That's not our responsibility. Either have a maintenance team member check the building's A/C on a regular basis or install a sensor on the output of the A/C chiller that alerts management for irregular temperatures.
Also, expect your rent payments to be ~$150 higher than what they quote you on (CAM, water, gas, sewer, etc.) and an additional $25 per pet and $80 per covered parking space or $40 per roof parking space.
Other cons: Laundry machines in buildings A & B are terrible & ruin clothes. The hot tub is not working more often than it is lately. The sports bar across the street is loud.
Positives: It's a great location. It is a lovely place to live when the air conditioner is working properly. The pool is wonderful. The gym is good. Good experience with the new maintenance staff for minor fixes so far. And the new concierge, Anita, is wonderful. Great park right across the street.
Unfortunately from that view... someone was drinking alcohol & stealing an RV directly across from seasons of Cherry Creek. The guy was commiting grand theft auto this morning & only cause a neighbor heard him trying to start the RV without keys or permission...did he not just take a $12,000 motorhome. Anthony lives in seasons of Cherry Creek & supposedly owns it? This is very sketchy situation that might be organized crime but the cops never did much at all. They never called to confirm they caught the bike thief from the Cherry Creek mall. The security guard got the bandits bag tho at least. Who is in on it, we'll never know!
It has not been good. Been there for a month and am shocked how many apt complex and unit issues there have been. I think its the case of a very old building that has a litany of deferred maintenance. They've already been listed but here …
I like it here!
The rent is actually affordable for the location. I am in the B building on the 8th floor and the design of the entry way to the building feels like a 5 star …
RUN away from renting here! Especially building “C”. Your rent will go up 10%-20% a year. PLUS, you have to pay another $100-$200 a month for “building utilities”. PLUS another $100-$150/month for parking. Constant issues with no hot water, appliances are junk. The building feels like a burning inferno or an ice freezer, depending on the day and month. The staff is miserable and all hate their jobs..Their 24hr “concierge” is always absent. Seriously rent ANYWHERE else! This place is so overpriced for what you get. Their buildings are nothing more than lipstick on a very fat and greedy pig. New owners deserve all the bad karma coming their way.
It has been a pure disaster after Broe took over the property.
The last straw for me turned out to be their email about PIZZA PARTY today while …
